Avoiding damage is better than fixing it

Chicago IL – June 4, 2019 –CDI announces the launch of its Extreme Accidental Damage Warranty for Chrome and Windows devices in partnership with MAXCases. As schools deploy increasing numbers of mobile devices, they must deal with a proportional increase in device damage. CDI’s Extreme warranty can eliminate the risk of accidental damage, reduces downtime and frees IT staff to help with improving learning outcomes.

Schools that purchase Extreme warranties are provided with Extreme ShellTM protective cases at no additional cost and CDI will replace or repair any device that is damaged while in these cases at no cost to the school.

“Classroom devices are great for enhancing teaching and improving learning outcomes, but accidents happen and devices sometimes get damaged. Our goal is to keep devices working and, in the unfortunate case of damage, get them back to educators quickly and without incurring unexpected costs” said Erez Pikar, CEO of CDI Technologies. “Like all of CDI’s products, these warranties are designed for classrooms, to provide peace of mind and reduce costs and maintenance.”

Extreme warranties are available in a 3-year or a 4-year term and covers Chromebooks, laptops and tablets from all of the major brands.

The Extreme Shell cases have two layers of impact-resistant, translucent polycarbonate surrounded by shock-absorbing rubber edges and corners to protect devices from significant drops, bumps and scratches. Cases can be customized with logos, are crafted for easy installation and fit most charging carts.

Extreme warranties fit in with CDI’s goal of providing complete technology ecosystems to schools that help inspire teachers and engage students. CDI offers hardware, software, and services such as planning, deployment and asset disposition.
